We find help in our daily life and in our praying, this means Christ now becomes PERSONAL and we begin to REALLY KNOW WHO HE IS. Romans 8 v 26, 27. We become empowered to SERVE God and DO HIS WILL (Acts 1 v 8 Romans 12 v 6. And become hungry for READING his WORD. We become INTERESTED in and become a PART OF GODS PLAN to build up his church. (Ephesians 4 v 12 & 13) e.g. understanding the reason for joining fellowship with other believers, tithing, fasting, praying for others. WE NO LONGER CAN LAY IN BED ON A SUNDAY morning OR GO TO CHURCH PERIODICALLY. THIS BECOMES A LIFESTYLE. We NO LONGER TRY TO FILL A VOID AN EMPTINESS THAT WAS THERE. NOW I REALIZE THAT I KNOW THAT I KNOW THAT I BELONG TO HIM AND IF I WERE TO DIE TODAY I AM 100% SURE I WILL SPEND ETERNITY WITH HIM. In the power and protection of Jesus we can overcome temptation… For more on our privileged position through Christ see Romans 8 v 17 As a sinner, separated from God, it seems as if his Laws are a ladder to be climbed to get to God. We therefore mess up often times and have to start over and over. Romans 7 v 18 “For I have the desire to do good, but I cannot carry it out, (19) for what I do is not the good I want to do, no the evil I do not want to do this I keep on doing. (20) Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. (21) So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me, (22) for in my inner being, I delight in God’s law, (23) but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin (24) what a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death, (25) thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord”. Without Christ protection the ENEMY (Satan) weakens us and we keep failing, and we keep starting over and over. Some of us have even given up because we keep messing up and falling off the ladder. What relief we can find with Jesus offering with open arms to lift us OFF the ladder of the LAW, to take us directly to God.
