The Babylonian cult spread to Fanesia, where they added the worship of the sun, under the name of BAAL. BAAL WORSHIP WAS GOD’S #1 ENEMY in ISRAEL. Jezebel was considered the most evil woman in the bible, she was the queen to King Ahab of Israel. No one was more determined as Jezebel to make all Israel worship her gods. She brought Baal worship into Israel and God allowed her to be eaten by dogs 1^st King 22 v 23. God also allowed Elijah to slaughter 485 Baal prophets because Baal worship is the very evil that would crush Israel if they believed that doctrine.

From Fanesia, the Babylonian cult went to Pergamum. The people in Pergamum were described as evil in God’s sight. In the time that John the Revelator wrote the book of Revelation, Pergamum is called the place where Satan has his throne, Rev 2 v 13, meaning it had great wickedness.

It was a sophisticated city, the center of Greek culture and education, with a 200,000 volume library. Pergamum was steeped in four cults, one of their gods was Asciepius whose symbol was a SERPENT. Asciepius was considered the god of healing PEOPLE CAME FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD TO SEEK HEALING FROM THIS god. ( Are there any Christian doctrine today that is still teaching it’s people to make pilgrimages to places for healing? embracing experiences of statues weeping, bleeding etc).

The Babylonian cult plagued Israel. The Lord sent them into exile because they had embraced that religion.

This Queen of heaven. This mother child cult, this Babylonian cult.

Jer 44 : Here Israel is being told why God is allowing them to go into captivity, BECAUSE THEY ALLOWED that to come into their midst. Jer 44 v 16 “ We will not listen to the message you have spoken to us in the name of the Lord, we will certainly do everything we said we would, we will burn incense to the Queen of Heaven…v 19 The women added, “when we burn incense to the Queen of Heaven, and poured out drink offering to her, did not our husbands know that we were making cakes like her image and pouring out drink offering to her? Who are they  talking about? They are referring to the ancient Babylonian queen - SEMIRAMIS, THEY WERE PRACTICING THOSE ANCIENT PRACTICES WHICH THEY HAD ADOPTED AND GOD WAS ANGRY!!!

 V 22 “ When the Lord could no longer endure your wicked actions, and the detestable things you did, your land became an object of cursing, a desolate waste without inhabitants.

Ezekiel chapter 8 v 9  God told the prophet to do some eavesdropping over at the temple where the people were worshipping. Ezekiel did and what did he find? He found the Israelites in the temple full of idols, idols of the mother child cult, they were worshipping and weeping? Who were they weeping for? For the child TAMMUZ,

(REMEMBER EARLIER IT WAS DISCUSSED THAT SEMIRAMIS HAD REQUESTED THE TEMPLE VIRGINS TO WEEP AND FAST 40 DAYS FOR HER SON TAMMUZ) This was a resurfacing of that practice by the Israelites. THEY HAD BECOME INFECTED WITH THE MOTHER CHILD CULT!!! and God was getting ready to send Israel into captivity to purge them!

EASTER:   WHY is Easter being celebrated in the form of the crucifixion and in the form of the Stations Of The Cross, WE cannot walk that walk, only Christ was WORTHY to walk that walk. The crucifixion was no celebration, the crucifixion was a shameful torturous agony that Christ willingly took upon himself in place of us, for our sins. However please remember that the RESURRECTION IS THE VICTORY! A Christian should celebrate the RISEN CHRIST.
