LETS LOOK AT SOME HISTORY TO POSSIBLY IDENTIFY THE APOSTATE CHURCH!

284 CE/AD Rome: Emperor Diocletian began the reorganization of the Roman Empire. Christianity continues to rise. However the government at this time has no part with this, up to this time Roman leadership is still steeped in paganism. Emperor Diocletian rules from Nicomedia (which is modern day Turkey) He accepts the title of DOMINUS meaning LORD,  DOMINUS is a title from ORIENTAL potentate.       His reforms include the separation of military, civilian administration i.e. division of the EMPIRE INTO HALVES, meaning half of the empire ruling from Rome and half ruling from Turkey.

Here he granted his trusted friend Constantine Maximian, with the Western half. They NOW BECAME TWO CAESARS, dividing the rule into subsections, introducing new agriculture, legislation and new tax system. Through his reorganization, Rome ended its chaotic military exchange of rule. Its Easternization of the Roman Empire redistributes the wealth of the East and refashions Roman government into an imperial bureaucracy.

303 AD ROME: Civil war broke out and lasted seven years. Constantine, Diocleatian trusted friend and leader on the eastern side wage war against Rome 312 AD. Constantine had a vision in which he claimed he saw a sign with the words CONQUER. On the sign was a red flag with a blue background. (This turned out to become the sign of Christianity which the Crusaders used throughout the middle ages)

Constantine attained victory.

Constantine remains in (Turkey) and continued rule over Rome. He abolished DIOCLETIAN system and rules over the reunited empire as SOLE CAESAR.

313 CE ROME: Constantine signs THE EDICT OF MILAN, establishing a policy of toleration for Christians in the Empire. THIS DOCUMENT LEADS HIM TO ESTABLISHING THE RELIGION OF CHRISTIANITY IN ROME; THIS WAS A STATE RELIGION ON ORDER. As now the only Caesar, Constantine’s next position is PONTIMUS MAXIMUS the first POPE.

325 CE ROME: Constantine organized the Council of Nicaea, and served as presiding officer. The council of 300 bishops meets to resolve the controversies over doctrine which are causing conflicts within the Roman Empire. The crucial problem is how to interpret the relationship between GOD the FATHER and CHRIST who has been man.

Constantine erects a new capital, Constantinople on the border of Europe and Asia.

WHAT IS THIS DOCTRINE THAT THE ROMAN STATE EMBRACED?

The mother child relationship and that salvation is by sacraments.

Where did this doctrine originate?

Please remember that Rome was a PAGAN nation, which means their practices were not in keeping with the beliefs of the Jewish converts who were the followers of Jesus Christ. The Romans believed in many GODS they practiced Polytheistic belief, which is the belief in many Gods.

1. One of those beliefs came from the Babylonians who worshipped the god Baal

2. Some of these beliefs were taken from the period of Nimrod who developed the kingdom of Babylon

3. Some of their beliefs were birth from the Gospel which Paul the apostle taught.

All throughout the bible Babylon was always described as a pagan godless society.

When we reject TRUTH we embrace a LIE.

When we reject GOD we embrace SATAN.

Nimrod developed the pagan society Babylon. Attempting to build a tower to reach up to heaven. See Gen chapter 11 (basically to exalt themselves over God) similar to what Satan tried to do and was thrown out of heaven.

God confused their language. The name of Baabel was changed to Babel. Rebellion against God was born here. Here they developed the first world wide idol worship. No wonder John called it the mother of Harlots chapter 17 in the book of Revelation.
