Chapter 5 v 7 & 8The 24 ELDERS is a representative of ALL of God’s people sharing that wonderful moment. The REDEEMED break out in SONG See what they say verse 9-11 “THOU ART WORTHY” Notice the song is an APPRECIATION THAT CHRIST WAS SLAIN ON CALVARY’S CROSS, that his precious blood was shed for ALL people…THEY also sing about their soon return with him when he comes as King of Kings to reign on the earth. See chapter 19 verse 11. Following this the ANGELS join in the praise; they praise the Lord for: 1. HIS POWER 2. HIS SPIRITUAL RICHES, HIS WISDOM AND HIS HONOR. HIS GLORY, STRENGTH AND BLESSINGS (Rev 5 v 12 - 13) Every creature in heaven and earth and in the sea, praise Jesus because he is the “lamb” THE LORD JESUS CHRIST” AT THIS POINT Philippians 2 verse 9-11 would be fulfilled. ”For God has highly exalted him…and gave him authority.. CHAPTER 6-18These chapters depicts the most sorrowful time in all the earth’s history. This is talking about the TRIBULATION. It will make ALL the past WARS seem like picnics. HERE ARE SOME QUESTIONS TO ASK: § Is there relationship between the SIGNS and the RAPTURE? § Are all the signs that Jesus gave in Matthew 24 IDENTICAL to those mentioned in this chapter? § What glorious event do signs point to EXCLUSIVELY? § Are there signs that points to Christians returning to the earth with Christ? § WHO are the 4 horsemen of the APOCALYPSE and what happens as each begins to ride? § HOW does the Antichrist come to power? § Is world PEACE on the horizon? § Who is Gog, Meshak, Tubal § Do present statistics on population figures and geographic distances point to the coming prediction of wars. § Will money become worthless because of economic conditions? § Can spirit beings wear robes? § When will the most awesome earthquake occur? THE GOSPEL: Some Christians refer to Matthew 24 v 14 which says the gospel of the kingdom shall be preached to all the world etc. They go on to say that since there are areas that have not heard the gospel it means that Jesus cannot come until then. These people have their SIGNS in the WRONG place. THE RAPTURE IS A SIGN LESS, TIMELESS event. What relationship is there between the RAPTURE and the PROPHETIC SIGNS? ABSOLUTELY NONE!! The RAPTURE is only an evacuation of believers, BEFORE the great judgment of the tribulation hour. It is a meeting in the HEAVENLIES….IT IS NOT CHRIST RETURN TO THE EARTH. Since his first coming was to earth, his second coming must be to earth. The RAPTURE is NOT a COMING to EARTH. BUT A MEETING IN THE CLOUDS. Seven years LATER we return WITH Him. PLEASE NOTE: ALL THE SIGNS REFER TO THAT COMING WHEN HE RETURNS TO EARTH. For a simple explanation of this fact: Take 2 bibles and open one bible to the pages of the book of Revelation chapter 6 where the signs begin, then the other bible open to Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 17, Luke 21. Compare the signs in these chapters with the signs in Revelation chapter 6 and you will see that they are IDENTICAL. The church is RAPTURED in chapter 4 v 1 and believers represented by the 24 elders in Chapter 4 verse 10-11 are placing crowns and Jesus’ feet. THIS HAPPENS BEFORE THE SIGNS AND JUDGMENT of the TRIBULATION which begins in Chapter 6-18. The signs then are POST Rapture and PRE Revelational. In other words they are fulfilled AFTER the RAPTURE and BEFORE the REVELATION. OR AFTER Christ call the saints to heaven and BEFORE he returns with them to earth. Not one sign need to be fulfilled before the RAPTURE. Because ALL the signs points to the ‘REVELATION” or the “REVEALING OF CHRIST” to the earth. THEREFORE there is a period of 7 years following the RAPTURE when all the signs can adequately be fulfilled. THIS IS THE TRIBULATION HOUR AFTER WE CHRISTIANS HAVE BEEN RAPTURED OR EVACUATED. AS WE SEE THE TIME COMING TO A CLOSE WE CAN DEFINITELY SEE THAT THESE SIGNS ARE BEING FULFILLED. BUT THEY DO NOT ALL HAVE TO BE FULFILLED BEFORE WE GO. HOWEVER EVERY SINGLE SIGN MUST BE FULFILLED BEFORE HIS PHYSICAL RETURN TO THE EARTH. However within 7 years of the believers removal form the earth ALL the signs will be fulfilled. 1st Seal JUDGEMENT Jesus opens the 1st seal- The four horsemen of the Apocalypse – The Antichrist is released The Antichrist works with great deception. His identity cannot be revealed until Jesus shows up for his people!!. Jesus opens the 1st seal that the Father has given him and that’s the release the Antichrist gets to release himself upon the earth. Satan will have one last attempt through this man to rip the world from the hands of God but he will NOT. Satan has tried to use many men before who thought they could dominate the world, Nebuchadnezzar, Mussolini Stalin, more recently Adolph Hitler. Satan now has given the ANTICHRIST and ASSIGNMENT but he really does not accomplish the assignment. The Antichrist will attempt to rule the world, but he really does NOT succeed Rev 13 V 7 Here are a list of Scripture which identifies the Antichrist: Daniel 7:7-8 The Antichrist is called the “little horn” The reason he is called the little horn is because he rises among a group of ten horns. These 10 horns are 10 nations who support him. We know that the 10 horns prophesied by Daniel and referred to by John in the book of Revelation identifies the EUROPEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY OR THE EUROPEON UNION Daniel 7:24 he is referred to as a “king” denoting the he is a strong diplomat or national leader. One might first see him as the President of the European Economic Community however He will be the man who will lead that community in the seven years of tribulation. Daniel 11 v 37 “ He will show no regard for the gods of his fathers, or for the one desired by women, nor will he regard any god, but will exalt himself above them all.” Possibly this man originates from a family with some form of religious background which he now has no part of, also possibly he is a homosexual, Rev 11 v 8 2nd Thes 2:3 he is described as the “man of sin” and the “son of perdition”. The word PERDITION means DESTRUCTION. We recognize that this man’s plans are TOTALLY EVIL. In 2nd Thes 2:8 he is referred to as the “lawless one” or “wicked one”. 1 John 2:18 he is identified as the “Antichrist” We learn about him in the Old Testament book Daniel, and new Testaments books of the Apostles Paul and John THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ANTICHRIST: 1. He has distinct facial features. 2. He is physically attractive, having great physique 3. He is charismatic- great Orator
