We are COMMANDED to spread the gospel! How do we do that? By SHARING THE GOSPEL!! Telling people we come in contact with about the message of Salvation. Some will listen, some will accept, some will not listen, but YOU have been obedient and you have done what you are commanded to do. You cannot MAKE a person accept Jesus Christ, but you can share your faith, you can pray and the Hold Spirit of God will do the rest. ALL YOU ARE ASKED TO DO IS TO BE OBEDIENT AND SHARE.  If we do not share the gospel many many will perish! Our children, our families and our friends.

Next you realize it is important to OBEY the word of God, fully. That brings to mind the decision to be baptized. The child of God is required to be BAPTIZED.  Why? Because the word of God says so.  It does not say we should be baptized as an infant, because an infant CANNOT REPENT, and CANNOT ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS SAVIOR. The word of God says “unless you repent you shall all likewise perish” (God will take care of the little ones, don’t worry about them) YOU do what YOU are required to do.

(Now we can understand the importance of water baptism)

Mark 16 v 16 “Who so ever believes and is baptized shall be saved”

ACT 2 V 38  “Repent and be BAPTIZED.

NOW THAT I DESIRE TO LIVE AS A CHILD OF GOD WHAT MUST I DO?

I begin first by getting into God’s word. Start reading the book of John, here you will learn who Jesus really was, His life, His ministry, that truly He was the son of God, in the flesh, yet He was THE LIVING GOD HIMSELF.  This will help you to begin to KNOW Him. Then read the books of Matthew, Mark and Luke, read these over two or three times. The ACTS OF THE APOSTLES, This will explain what happened AFTER JESUS ROSE FROM THE DEAD AND LEFT THE EARTH. Then move on to the writings of Paul the apostle.

Paul was commissioned to bring the gospel to the GENTILE world. He teaches one HOW TO LIVE FOR CHRIST, THE GIFTS FROM GOD, THE PROMISES OF GOD. THE RETURN OF CHRIST TO THE EARTH. These books are Romans Ephesians, Timothy, Galatians, 1^st and 2^nd Corinthians, Philippians, 1 & 2^nd  Thessalonians. Paul’s teachings are very very important. John  wrote the final book of the  bible the book of the Revelation, where God revealed to him the events leading up to Christ’s return.

Did you know CHRIST IS REALLY COMING BACK TO EARTH!! ( see Acts 1 v 11.) IF HE WERE TO RETURN TODAY….ARE YOU READY TO MEET HIM!!! Tomorrow is promised to no one…If YOU were to die today…ARE YOU READY TO MEET HIM.

It is said that a house is perhaps the biggest financial decision most people make, followed by a car. WHERE ONE SPENDS ETERNITY IS THE BIGGEST DECISION ALL PEOPLE WILL MAKE, NO QUESTION ABOUT THAT!!!
