THE SEVEN IMPORTANT JEWISH FEASTS:

THIS CHART GIVES A BRIEF EXAMPLE OF WHAT IS BEING SAID. THESE EVENTS OCCURRED ON THE EXACT DATES THAT GOD HAD SET OVER 1400 YEARS BEFORE JESUS WAS BORN. KEEP IN MIND THAT THE JEWISH DAY BEGINS  IN THE EVENING (near dusk). ON THE PREVIOUS DAY.

THE FEASTS APPEAR IN THE ORDER THAT GOD GAVE THEM (LEV 23)

PASSOVER: (March/April) 14th day of the first month. Jesus was crucified and became our Passover (this has been fulfilled).

UNLEAVEN BREAD: (March/April  (One week after PASSOVER) 15th day of the first month. Jesus is buried. (This has been fulfilled)

FIRSTFRUITS: (March/April) Sunday following the unleavened bread or burial, Jesus resurrection. He became the First fruits of them that died. (This has been fulfilled )

PENTECOST: (May/June) Also called feasts of weeks in the old Testament. Fiftieth day after First fruits. The Holy Spirit came to dwell within the hearts of the believers.

TRUMPETS: (September/October) First day of the 7th month. THIS FEAST LASTED 10 DAYS. – (THE RAPTURE not yet fulfilled.)

ATONEMENT: (September/October) 10th day of the 7th Month. Repentance of Israel When they shall look upon him whom they have pierced (not yet fulfilled)

TABERNACLES: 15th Day of the seventh month. The coming state of rest. Jesus reign on earth for one thousand years (not yet fulfilled).

It should be noted that these feasts were observed on special days. When Jesus came the first time, he fulfilled the first three feasts on the precise days and in the same order that God had given them. The fourth feast was fulfilled 10 days after Jesus ascended into heaven, when he sent the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. The last three feasts are awaiting fulfillment, and are associated with events surrounding His second coming.

The seven feasts of Israel give us God’s timetable. these are covered in Lev chapter 23. In the bible, the number seven is used to mean "total" or "completeness." it seems evident that all bible doctrine and prophecy are founded in these feasts. they reveal the time for the fulfillment of Jesus Christ’s crucifixion, his coming again, and the millennial kingdom.
