LET’S GO BACK TO THE JEWISH WEDDING

The bride  having prepared herself is bathed in perfume, her skin smooth with the care and attention bathed with oils, she would be decked out in jewels and precious stones.

At the end of that year the bridegroom would come, she doesn’t know EXACTLY what hour he is coming so he comes with a SHOUT and there would be great excitement and festivity.

They would return to the groom’s house and the wedding would take place.

REVELATION 19 v 9

The year is gone by, the groom has left his home to go for his bride and bring her back to the house he has prepared. WHAT HAPPENS?

When they get to the groom’s house there is a wedding feast that they would partake of. THIS FEAST AND FESTIVITY LAST FOR SEVEN DAYS!!!

SEVEN IS THE NUMBER FOR COMPLETENESS FOLKS!!!! They would eat, drink, and make merry.

What HEAVEN is going to be is a FEAST for ALL ETERNITY! IT’S going to be a FELLOWSHIP for all ETERNITY. That’s the reason we read “ Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb.

Think of all the people who will be there: PROPHETS, PRIESTS, SEERS, SCRIBES, THE PATRIARCHS , from both Old and New Testaments. See Matthew 8 v 11 “ I say to you many will come from the east and the west and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of Heaven”. Also see  Luke 13 v 28-30. The Prince of Peace will be there Matt 26 v 29 “ I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it anew with you in my Father’s kingdom”.

This is a banquet no BELIEVER would want to miss. This is a table everyone of us want to be a part of. EVERYONE ON PLANET EARTH HAVE BEEN SENT AN INVITATION TO THIS BANQUET.

THIS INVITATION IS ENGRAVED WITH THE GOLD of GOD’S GRACE.

THIS INVITATION IS SIGNED WITH THE BLOOD of GOD’S SON..

THIS INVITATION IS SEALED WITH THE WAS of GOD'S LOVE.

HOW DO WE KNOW EVERYONE IS INVITED?

Because the bible says whosoever WILL MAY COME.

I might say I don’t have an invitation!

JESUS has one for you, he BOUGHT it, PAID, for it, it won’t COST you a thing.

The bible says “everyone who calls on the name of Jesus shall be saved”.
